New Mac Book Pro
January 9, 2007
Hey Yall,
Its been a while since my last post, I have been busy. Big news, yet another PC user goes to the other side, that’s right I am now a Mac Owner. I have a 17″ MacBook Pro, and I love it!!
The sleek look and feel of it represents the macTop greatly, the machine works great and the best thing I would have to say about a mac is the little things that make it stand out compared to a pc, small animations, cool little widgets, and programs. Front Row is a great program with a remote, beautiful interface you cant ask for more. I would suggest going into an Apple store if you have one near you, they are the coolest stores ever. I do think microsoft has meant its match with the new Apple Branding and marketing… Watch Out!!

I almost bought a 17in MacBook Pro. But instead got a 17in HP with Vista. and I have to say, I’m still not as happy as I could be. I still have my programs like Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver crash on me all the time. Vista is also a real pain in the ass with all its extra security features. Now I kinda wish I went with a Mac, but my main concern about going with a Mac is about getting software. Have you found the switch easy and worth it in terms of $$$$ and easy access to the software? I know there is some software like Adobe Captivate that you can’t get on a Mac and I use that program all the time at work, therefore, I would still need a PC close by. One the other hand, I really want to learn more Final Cut and the rest of that Studio.
Go Mac, there are just as many possibly more programs with a Mac. I do have an old desktop PC for sort of a media centre. I am hoping one day to just have all mac office.
